
On leaving Dartington Hall School in Devon, Dave studied Early Music and piano at Cambridge College of Arts, where his principal tutor was Christopher Hogwood of the Early Music Consort. He joined the Royal Lyceum Theatre in Edinburgh as assistant stage manager in 1969 and then moved to ATV in Elstree in 1972 as a trainee audio
technician, working in the dubbing department on network dramas and in the studio on major light entertainment series.

Barbara’s writing background was initially in print journalism where she was a freelance feature and fiction writer/editor for many national magazine titles including “19”, “Honey” and “Woman’s Way”. Following a staff job as editor of the now defunct Scottish “Woman’s Way”, she became copy chief at Struther’s Advertising before moving on to Radio Clyde as Head of Commercial Production (creative).

Dawn joined the company in 1995. Previously she had a successful career in Bar & Restaurant management. She then fulfilled a life time ambition to travel and work abroad and is now Production Manager and Finance Manager in the family business.
